Main Article Content
Abstract
In this paper, it is that the interaction of legal framework and economic performance with the Indian sports organizations is a complex one, and this paper gives the analysis of the legal sphere in-depth perspective through sports law. It especially examines the impact of the remaining regulatory environment, such as anti-doping laws and governance frameworks on the efficiency of operations and long-term economic development in the industry. The research will further examine the effectiveness of the existing compliance systems to reduce the risks related to doping violations both in the responsibility of the individual sportsmen and the organizational responsibility. Further, the study will determine the prevalence of procedural fairness in the current anti-doping grievances under the jurisdiction of the bodies empowered in India and other states to aid in highlighting the areas on requiring reform and harmonization. The possible implications of these control structures to the general economic climate of Indian sports including investment, sponsorship and broadcast rights will be discussed critically. This reflection will also appeal to the possibilities of the legislative measures that may either cause cultural transformations to the sports organizations, or, vice versa, lead to the avoidance of the regulations, and analogous experiences in sports regulating, with reference to international experiences, will be adduced. Finally, the paper will provide realistic suggestions to policy makers, sports administrators and law practitioners to establish a more compliant, just and cost effective Indian sports system.
